🎨 Workshop Overview
This is a watercolor workshop designed for our community of immigrants to reflect on our roots, journeys, and hopes through art.
🌟 Highlights & Achievements
- We will explore Wangari Maathai, the first African woman to win the Nobel Peace Prize (2004). She founded the 🌳Green Belt Movement, leading people to plant millions of trees in Kenya.
- We will learn how caring for the environment can also strengthen communities.
- Let's dive into 🌀 Ikigai, the ****Japanese philosophy about finding purpose where love, skills, needs, and livelihood meet.
- As 🌍 immigrants, ikigai can be a way to honor our roots and grow in a new land.
